We are so excited to be able to share our upcoming wedding resort stay with you at the beautiful Paradisus Playa Del Carmen. Our wedding will take place at the nearby private beach estate, Villa La Joya on Thursday, November 20th, 2025.

Misti & Colin of Bohemia Wedding Travel, a destination wedding travel company, have been helping us with all the booking details. They have worked to secure a group rate and will be helping all of our guests book their travel accommodations.

Our Resort Stay:

Our Wedding Day:

Our ceremony and reception will be held at Villa La Joya, a beautiful, private, seaside estate 20 minutes from our resort, Paradisus. Private Shuttle Transportation will be and provided to and from our resort and wedding venue.

Note: Paradisus is half family-friendly (“Playa Del Carmen Esmeralda”), half adults-only (“La Perla”). All guests 18+ have access to the entire resort except the premium areas ‘Nikte’ and ‘The Reserve’ unless you upgrade to those premium rooms.

Ready To Reserve?

  1. To be considered a guest of Joel and Jesus’ Welcome Party at Paradisus, you must book through this group room block and not through any other method (even directly with the hotel). We offer low contracted group rates that have been secured by Joel and Jesus with a deposit already paid on each room.

  2. If the room you want has sold out, or if you would like to upgrade your room, or reserve the premium room categories of Nikte or The Reserve, please contact hello@bohemiaweddingtravel.com for pricing and availability.

  3. Paradisus, like most resorts, does not guarantee bed sizes, they are upon request only. The earlier you book, the more likely you are to get your requested bed type. The adults-only section (La Perla) is 95% King Beds.

  4. Paradisus Playa del Carmen La Perla is an “Adults Only Resort” and All guests must be minimum 18 years of age or older at the date of arrival to be registered. No exceptions.

  5. September 16th 2025 is the final date to reassign rooms to a different name or adjust the dates reserved.

  6. Maximum capacity in junior suites in “Family Section”: 2 adults and 2 children (up to 12 years old) OR 3 adults and 1 child (up to 12 years old). Quad occupancy is not permitted.

  7. Up to 2 children ages 0-4 are free per room. If you will be having 3 children under 12 in a room, please contact us for pricing.

  8. One child from 5-12 years old stay free per every paying adult in the room (up to 2 children stay free in total).

  9. Maximum capacity in rooms with double beds: 3 adults. Quad adult occupancy is not permitted.

  10. Child pricing is based on age at time of check-in.

TRIP DEPOSIT + PAYMENT SCHEDULE


A non-refundable payment of $100 is all you need to reserve your room right now.

  • July 20th, 2025 $100 deposit must be made by this date to reserve a room.

  • August 7th, 2025 The remaining balance is due.

Making Multiple Payments:

After you pay the deposit to reserve your room, you will receive an invoice to your email. Click ‘view invoice’. On your invoice page you will be able to make custom payment amounts until the due date with the same or different credit cards. Each time you make a custom payment, it will auto-deduct from your remaining balance.

Select flight times and purchase flights on your own terms.

  • You will fly to the Cancun International Airport (CUN).

  • We do require your flight info by September 20th, 2025 to provide the ground transportation company your arrival and departure times. You can send that to us by filling out the form on this page.

  • You may also choose to book your own ground transportation to Paradisus and back to the airport if you wish.

PLEASE READ

  • If you cancel your reservation before August 7th, 2025 you are only responsible for the non-refundable $100 per room booking fee, already paid as the deposit when you reserved your room. However, you can reduce the number of nights in your reservation up to this date without a fee while maintaining the 3 night minimum.

  • You may reduce the number of nights in your reservation between August 7th, 2025 and September 7th, 2025, by 15% while maintaining the 3 night minimum without penalties. Exceeding reductions will be charged 50% of the original nights booked.

  • If you cancel your reservation, no show or reduce the number of nights or travelers in your reservation after September 7th, 2025, you are responsible for 100% of your room total.

If you have travel insurance you can file a claim to get a refund based on the insurance providers terms.

Paradisus will not provide a credit or voucher for future travel if you arrive after your scheduled arrival date, if you check out early, or do not travel on the dates selected for this reservation for any reason.

Bohemia Wedding Travel is not an agent of Paradisus and has no governance of refund policies and other rules mandated by Paradisus.

TRAVEL PROTECTION

**If you have any questions about insurance please give Travel Insured a call at 800-243-3174. We (Bohemia Wedding Travel) are not a licensed insurance company and can not legally answer any insurance-related questions.**

  • FYI, not purchasing travel protection could result in the loss of your travel cost and/or require more money to correct the situation. Without protection, there may be no way to recoup any losses, costs, or expenses incurred and the price of Travel Protection IS NOT included in the price of the room selections and is non-refundable once purchased.

  • Having travel protection is important and recommended for everyone. The option to purchase travel insurance is solely up to you and you may purchase it through any insurance company you would like.

  • This website (Travel Insured) offers a very comprehensive policy called the “Worldwide Trip Protector” plan with optional add-ons like CFAR (Cancel For Any Reason), and other add-on options.

 ROUNDTRIP AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION

Ground transportation costs to the resort and back to the airport is not included with your room reservation cost, but can be reserved for you on the booking form if you wish.

For Joel and Jesus’ wedding, we secured direct, non-stop transfers with Mayaland at $99 per person, round trip.

We highly recommend that you select to include ground transportation when placing your room deposit so that you won’t forget about this later and possibly become stranded at the airport with only expensive options. Ride share services like Uber are not reliable in the Riviera Maya.

You will fly into the Cancun International Airport (CUN) where the transportation company will pick you up.

Once your flights are booked, please fill out our flight form HERE, so we can get the correct info to Mayaland, so they are ready and waiting for you at the correct times.

Any updates to your flight info or any needed changes to the transfers must be updated directly with us at hello@bohemiaweddingtravel.com. Bohemia Wedding Travel does not have access to make any emergency changes or updates.

AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT

Resorts in Mexico are not in compliance with the U.S. Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. The venue has a limited number of accessible guest rooms that are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We can request an accessible room for you but it’s availability cannot be guaranteed.

Also, public areas at the venue are wheelchair accessible, but not always wheelchair friendly. If you need to rent a wheelchair, scooter, or oxygen tank you can do so through Playa Mobility. Click here to visit their website.
