Misti & Colin of Bohemia Wedding Travel, a local destination wedding travel company, have been helping us with all the booking details. They have worked to secure a group rate and will be helping all of our guests book their travel accommodations for our wedding on Saturday, April 25th, 2026 at the nearby Villa La Joya Estate.

The Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya is a luxurious 5-star beachfront resort located just 15 minutes (15.1 km) from Cancún International Airport, offering an ideal blend of convenience and tropical seclusion. Our Wedding Day:
Our ceremony and reception will be held at Villa La Joya, a beautiful, private, seaside estate 20 minutes from our resort, Paradisus. Private Shuttle Transportation will be provided to and from our resort and wedding venue.

To be considered a part of Karissa and Elliott’s Wedding Group, you must book through this group room block and not through any other method (even directly with the hotel). Karissa and Elliott have secured contracted group rates and they will incur penalties for any guest that books outside of this room block.
Rooms are guaranteed to be held for the group from April 23-26, 2026, but they will guarantee these rates for April 20-29, 2026. Room availability outside of April 23-26 2026, will be subject to availability at the time of booking.
Individual reservations booked outside the room block, may have to purchase a wedding guest pass to attend event(s).
Specific buildings, specific rooms, specific views, adjacent rooms or room numbers are not guaranteed but may be requested at check-in.
If the room you want has sold out, or if you would like to modify the length of your stay or upgrade your room to any category of the hotel please contact cunwa.reservations@waldorfastoria.com for pricing and availability.
Some rooms with a partial ocean view from the patio/balcony may be categorized as Ocean View rooms.
February 23rd, 2026 is the final date to reassign rooms to a different name or adjust the dates reserved.
Modifications to your room category are possible but response times from resorts can take weeks. It is recommended that you select your room category with accuracy.

Ground transportation costs to Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya and back to the airport are not included with your reservation. You have the choice to select any ground transportation method you like.
For Karissa and Elliott, we have secured group transfer and tour rates from the Cancun airport with Lomas Travel.
All flight information or changes in schedule must be made with your chosen ground transportation company. Bohemia Wedding Travel does not have access to make any emergency changes or updates.

Due to the small size of the resort and number of rooms, it is highly encouraged to book by December 23rd, 2025 to guarantee your room availability.
Full payment will be due at booking.

cANCELLATION POLICY
PLEASE READ
If you cancel your reservation before December 23rd, 2025 no penalties will apply.
If you cancel your reservation, no-show, or reduce the number of nights or travelers in your reservation after December 23rd, 2025 you are responsible for 100% of your original room total.
A 3 night minimum is required.
If you have travel insurance you can file a claim for refunds based on their terms.
Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya will not provide a credit or voucher for future travel if you arrive after your scheduled arrival date, if you check out early, or do not travel on the dates selected for this reservation for any reason.
Bohemia Wedding Travel is not an agent of Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya and has no governance of refund policies and other rules mandated by Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya.
TRAVEL PROTECTION
FYI, not purchasing travel protection could result in the loss of your travel cost and/or require more money to correct the situation. Without protection, there may be no way to recoup any losses, costs, or expenses incurred and the price of Travel Protection IS NOT included in the price of the room selections and is non-refundable once purchased.
Having travel protection is important and recommended for everyone. The option to purchase travel insurance is solely up to you and you may purchase it through any insurance company you would like.

The venue has a limited number of accessible guest rooms that are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We can request an accessible room for you but it’s availability cannot be guaranteed.
