Misti & Colin of Bohemia Wedding Travel, a local destination wedding travel company, have been helping us with all the booking details. They have worked to secure a group rate and will be helping all of our guests book their travel accommodations for our wedding on Monday, April 26th, 2027 which will be held at Blue Venado, a private seaside venue offsite the Resort.

Our Wedding Day:
Our ceremony and reception will be held at a beautiful, private, seaside venue, Blue Venado, located 30 minutes from our resort. Private Shuttle Transportation will be provided to and from our resort.

To be considered a part of Katie and Ryan’s Wedding Group, you must book through this group room block and not through any other method (even directly with the hotel). Katie and Ryan have secured contracted group rates and they will incur penalties for any guest that books outside of this room block.
Individual reservations booked outside the room block, may have to purchase a wedding guest pass to attend event(s).
Specific buildings, specific rooms, specific views, adjacent rooms or room numbers are not guaranteed but may be requested at check-in.
Hyat Zilara Riviera Maya is strictly 18+. Based on age at time of check-in.

Some rooms with a partial ocean view from the patio/balcony may be categorized as Ocean View rooms.
February 23rd, 2027 is the final date to reassign rooms to a different name or adjust the dates reserved.
Modifications to your room category are possible but response times from resorts can take weeks. It is recommended that you select your room category with accuracy.

You will fly into Cancun International Airport (CUN)
Ground transportation costs to Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya and back to the airport are not included with your reservation. You have the choice to select any ground transportation method you like.
For Katie and Ryan, we have secured group transfer and tour rates from the Cancun airport with Lomas Travel.
All flight information or changes in schedule must be made with your chosen ground transportation company. Bohemia Wedding Travel does not have access to make any emergency changes or updates.

TRIP DEPOSIT + PAYMENT SCHEDULE
A non-refundable payment of $300 is all you need to reserve your room right now.
November 25th, 2026 $300 deposit due to reserve a room.
December 1st, 2026 40% of total room block is due.
January 30th, 2027 Remaining balance is due.
Making Multiple Payments:
After you pay the deposit to reserve your room, you will receive an invoice to your email. Click ‘reply’, and scroll down to invoice link. On your invoice page you will be able to make custom payment amounts until the remaining balance due date with the same or different credit cards. Each time you make a custom payment, it will auto-deduct from your remaining balance.
Zero Credit Card Fees.
Select flight times and purchase flights on your own terms.
You will fly to the Cancun International Airport (CUN).

cANCELLATION POLICY
PLEASE READ
If you cancel your reservation before December 1st, 2026 you are only responsible for the non-refundable $300 per room booking fee already paid as the deposit when you reserved your room. You can reduce the number of nights in your reservation up to this date (maintaining the 3 night minimum).
Between December 1st, 2026 and December 30th, 2026, any cancelled room nights will be charged at 20%
Between December 30th, 2026 and January 30th, 2027, any cancelled room nights will be charged at 40%
If you cancel your reservation, no-show, or reduce the number of nights or travelers in your reservation after January 30th, 2027 you are responsible for 100% of your original room total.
A 3 night minimum is required.
If you have travel insurance you can file a claim for refunds based on their terms.
Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya will not provide a credit or voucher for future travel if you arrive after your scheduled arrival date, if you check out early, or do not travel on the dates selected for this reservation for any reason.

Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya .
TRAVEL PROTECTION
FYI, not purchasing travel protection could result in the loss of your travel cost and/or require more money to correct the situation. Without protection, there may be no way to recoup any losses, costs, or expenses incurred and the price of Travel Protection IS NOT included in the price of the room selections and is non-refundable once purchased.
Having travel protection is important and recommended for everyone. The option to purchase travel insurance is solely up to you and you may purchase it through any insurance company you would like.
This website (Travelinsured.com) offers a very comprehensive policy called the “Worldwide Trip Protector” plan with optional add-ons like CFAR (Cancel For Any Reason), and other add-on options.

Resorts outside of the U.S. are not required to be in compliance with the U.S. Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. The venue has a limited number of accessible guest rooms that are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We can request an accessible room for you but it’s availability cannot be guaranteed.
