Misti & Colin of Bohemia Wedding Travel, a local destination wedding travel company, have been helping us with all the booking details. They have worked to secure a group rate and will be helping all of our guests book their travel accommodations for our wedding on Saturday, March 14th, 2026.

To be included in Kelsey and Marco’s Wedding Activities, please only book through this group room block and not through any other method (even directly with the hotel). We offer low contracted group rates that have been secured by Kelsey and Marco with a deposit already paid on each room.

Grand Velas, like most resorts, does not guarantee bed sizes, they are upon request only. The earlier you book, the more likely you are to get your requested bed type.
January 11th 2026 is the final date to reassign rooms to a different name or adjust the dates reserved.
Maximum suite occupancy is three adults and one minor or two adults and two minors. Quadruple adult occupancy is not permitted.
Specific buildings or room numbers are not guaranteed.

TRIP DEPOSIT + PAYMENT SCHEDULE
A non-refundable payment of $200 is all you need to reserve your room right now.
September 15th, 2025 $200 deposit due to reserve a room.
October 2nd, 2025 Your remaining balance is due.
Making Multiple Payments:
After you pay the deposit to reserve your room, you will receive an invoice to your email. Click ‘view invoice’. On your invoice page you will be able to make custom payment amounts until the remaining balance due date October 2nd, 2026 with the same or different credit cards. Each time you make a custom payment, it will auto-deduct from your remaining balance.
Select flight times and purchase flights on your own terms.
You will fly to the Cancun International Airport (CUN).
We will need your flight info by January 11th, 2026 to give to the transportation company so they know what time you will arrive. You can send that to us by filling out the form on this page.
You can also book your own ground transportation to Grand Velas Riviera Maya and back to the airport if you wish.

PLEASE READ
If you cancel your reservation before November 2nd, 2025 you are only responsible for the non-refundable $200 per room booking fee already paid as the deposit when you reserved your room. However, you can reduce the number of nights in your reservation up to this date without a fee (maintaining the 3 night minimum).
Between November 2nd, 2025 and December 2nd, 2025 room nights my be reduced by 15% without damages. Any room nights released above the 15% allowed will be charged 100% of the room revenue cancelled.
Between December 2nd, 2025 and December 15th, 2025 room nights my be reduced by 10% without damages. Any room nights released above the 10% allowed will be charged 100% of the room revenue cancelled.
If you cancel your reservation, no-show or reduce the number of nights in your reservation after December 15th, 2025, you are responsible for 100% of your original room total.
If you have travel insurance you can file a claim to get a refund based on their terms.
Grand Velas Riviera Maya will not provide a credit or voucher for future travel if you arrive after your scheduled arrival date, if you check out early, or do not travel on the dates selected for this reservation for any reason. Bohemia Wedding Travel is not an agent of Grand Velas Riviera Maya and has no governance of refund policies and other rules mandated by Grand Velas.cANCELLATION POLICY
TRAVEL PROTECTION
FYI, not purchasing travel protection could result in the loss of your travel cost and/or require more money to correct the situation. Without protection, there may be no way to recoup any losses, costs, or expenses incurred and the price of Travel Protection IS NOT included in the price of the room selections and is non-refundable once purchased.
Having travel protection is important and recommended for everyone. The option to purchase travel insurance is solely up to you and you may purchase it through any insurance company you would like.
This website (Travel Insured) offers a very comprehensive policy called the “Worldwide Trip Protector” plan with optional add-ons like CFAR (Cancel For Any Reason), and other add-on options.
**If you have any questions about insurance please give Travel Insured a call at 800-243-3174. We (Bohemia Wedding Travel) are not a licensed insurance company and can not legally answer any insurance-related questions.**
ROUNDTRIP AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION
For Kelsey and Marco’s wedding, we have secured direct, non-stop transfers with Mayaland Transportation at $85 per person, round trip.
You will fly into the Cancun International Airport (CUN) where the transportation company will pick you up.
We highly recommend that you select to include ground transportation when placing your room deposit so that you won’t forget. Ride share services like Uber are not reliable in the Riviera Maya.
Once your flights are booked, please fill out our flight form HERE, so we can get the correct info to Mayaland, so they are ready and waiting for you at the correct times.
If you’d like to add this service to your booking, please do so on the group booking page.
Any updates to your flight info or any needed changes to the transfers must be updated directly with us at hello@bohemiaweddingtravel.com. But for emergencies, please reach out to Mayaland directly at 1 (877) 240 5864 or info@airportconciergeservice.com. Bohemia Wedding Travel does not have access to make any emergency changes or updates.
AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT
Resorts outside of the U.S. are not required to be in compliance with the U.S. Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. The venue has a limited number of accessible guest rooms that are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We can request an accessible room for you but it’s availability cannot be guaranteed.
Also, public areas at the venue are wheelchair accessible, but not always wheelchair friendly. If you need to rent a wheelchair, scooter, or oxygen tank you can do so through Playa Mobility. Click here to visit their website.
