Misti & Colin of Bohemia Wedding Travel, a local destination wedding travel company, have been helping us with all the booking details. They have worked to secure a group rate and will be helping all of our guests book their travel accommodations for our wedding on Saturday, June 21st, 2025.

Our Resort Stay:
Garza Blanca Resort & Spa Cancun, is one of Cancun’s newest family-friendly, swanky beachfront all-inclusive resorts It is located in the tranquil Costa Mujeres neighborhood next to Playa Mujeres Golf Club just 30 minutes from Cancun International Airport.
Views from this paradise overlook the aquamarine waters of the Caribbean Sea. Enjoy pool, beach or spa days in the heart of this lush tropical landscape with your choice of over 7 restaurants and 4 bars. In addition to these, you also have access to Garza Blanca’s neighboring sister resort, Villa del Palmar Cancun. The two resorts are connected via the beach and an indoor passageway. Garza Blanca guests can also enjoy access to Villa del Palmar’s complimentary resort activities and facilities, including a Wibit brand Aqua Park.

To be considered a part of Lonnie and Dotty’s Wedding Group, you must book through this group room block and not through any other method (even directly with the hotel). We offer low contracted group rates that have been secured by Lonnie and Dotty with a deposit already paid on each room.
To participate in all of the wedding-related activities, you must stay at Garza Blanca Cancun as part of the wedding group.
If the room you want has sold out, or if you would like to upgrade your room, please contact hello@bohemiaweddingtravel.com for pricing and availability.
Specific buildings, specific rooms, specific views, adjacent rooms or room numbers are not guaranteed but may be requested at check-in.
Modifications to your room category are possible but response times from resorts can take weeks. It is recommended that you select your room category with accuracy.
April 19th 2025 is the final date to reassign rooms to a different name or adjust the dates reserved.

TRIP DEPOSIT + PAYMENT SCHEDULE
A non-refundable payment of $100 is all you need to reserve your room right now.
December 1st, 2024 $100 deposit due to reserve a room.
December 5th, 2024 2 nights of room purchase must be paid.
March 5th, 2025 Remaining balance due.
Making Multiple Payments:
After you pay the deposit to reserve your room, you will receive an invoice to your email. Click ‘view invoice’. On your invoice page you will be able to make custom payment amounts until the remaining balance due date with the same or different credit cards. Each time you make a custom payment, it will auto-deduct from your remaining balance.

Select flight times and purchase flights on your own terms.
You will fly to the Cancun International Airport (CUN).
We do need your flight info by April 19th, 2025 to provide the ground transportation company your arrival and departure times. You can send that to us by filling out the form on this page.
We’ve found that wedding guests overwhelmingly prefer to handle their own flights. (Especially considering the use use and accumulation of airline miles.)
You can also book your own ground transportation to Garza Blanca Cancun and back to the airport if you wish.

PLEASE READ
If you cancel your reservation before December 5th, 2024 you are only responsible for the non-refundable $100 per room booking fee already paid as the deposit when you reserved your room.
If you cancel your reservation between December 5th, 2024 and March 5th, 2025, a 2 night penalty per person will apply.
If you cancel your reservation between March 5th, 2025 and April 5th, 2025, a 3 night penalty per person will apply.
If you cancel your reservation, no-show or reduce the number of nights or travelers after April 5th, 2025, you are responsible for 100% of your room total.
If you have travel insurance you can file a claim to get a refund based on the insurance providers terms.
Garza Blanca Cancun will not provide a credit or voucher for future travel if you arrive after your scheduled arrival date, if you check out early, or do not travel on the dates selected for this reservation for any reason.
Bohemia Wedding Travel is not an agent of Garza Blanca Cancun and has no governance of their refund policies and other mandates.
cANCELLATION POLICY
TRAVEL PROTECTION
FYI, not purchasing travel protection could result in the loss of your travel cost and/or require more money to correct the situation. Without protection, there may be no way to recoup any losses, costs, or expenses incurred and the price of Travel Protection IS NOT included in the price of the room selections and is non-refundable once purchased.
Having travel protection is important and recommended for everyone. The option to purchase travel insurance is solely up to you and you may purchase it through any insurance company you would like.
This website (Travel Insured) offers a very comprehensive policy called the “Worldwide Trip Protector” plan with optional add-ons like CFAR (Cancel For Any Reason), and other add-on options.
**If you have any questions about insurance please give Travel Insured a call at 800-243-3174. We (Bohemia Wedding Travel) are not a licensed insurance company and can not legally answer any insurance-related questions.**
ROUNDTRIP AIRPORT
TRANSPORTATION
You will fly into Cancun International Airport (CUN)
Ground transportation costs to Garza Blanca Cancún and back to the airport are not included with your reservation. You have the choice to select any ground transportation method you like.
For Lonnie and Dotty we have secured group transfer and tour rates from the Cancun airport with Lomas Travel .
All flight information or changes in schedule must be made with your chosen ground transportation company. Bohemia Wedding Travel does not have access to make any emergency changes or updates.
AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT
Resorts in Mexico are not in compliance with the U.S. Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. The venue has a limited number of accessible guest rooms that are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We can request an accessible room for you but it’s availability cannot be guaranteed.
Also, public areas at the venue are wheelchair accessible, but not always wheelchair friendly. If you need to rent a wheelchair, scooter, or oxygen tank you can do so through Playa Mobility. Click here to visit their website.
