To be considered a part of Maria and Joseph Wedding Group, you must book through this group room block and not through any other method (even directly with the hotel). Maria and Joseph have secured contracted group rates and they will incur penalties for any guest that books outside of this room block. To participate in all of the wedding-related activities, you must stay at Hotel Xcaret Mexico as part of this wedding group.
The Adults-Only Suites are located in two different buildings, the Fuego building and the Agua building (Spa rooms). These two sections of the resort only allow guests age 18 and above. If you stay in a different room category other than an Adults-Only room category you will not have access to these buildings.
Guests staying in the Agua building do not have access to the Fuego building.
Maximum room capacity: Up to 3 guests for the Adults Only suites and 4 guests for the other categories (2 adults & 2 kids, 3 adults & 1 kid, or 3 adults).
Connecting rooms are of limited availability and can only be requested, not guaranteed.
Some rooms with a partial ocean view from the patio/balcony may be categorized as ocean view rooms.
Modifications to your room category are possible but response times from resorts can take weeks. It is recommended that you select your room category with accuracy.

Hotel Xcaret, like most resorts, do not guarantee bed sizes, they are upon request only; please contact us if you would like to request double beds. The earlier you book, the more likely you are to receive your requested bed type.
August 9th, 2026 is the final date to reassign rooms to a different name or adjust the dates reserved.

A non-refundable payment of $300 is all you need to reserve your room right now.
June 10th, 2026 $300 deposit must be made by this date to reserve a room.
June 15th, 2026 Your remaining balance is due.
Making Multiple Payments:
After you pay the deposit to reserve your room, you will receive an invoice to your email. Click ‘reply’ and scroll to the bottom of the page to see your invoice link. On your invoice page you will be able to make custom payment amounts until the remaining balance is due with the same or different credit cards. Each time you make a custom payment, it will auto-deduct from your remaining balance.
Zero Credit Card Fees
Select flight times and purchase flights on your own terms.
You will fly to the Cancun International Airport (CUN).
Ground transportation is included in your stay. You may also independently choose to book your own ground transportation to the resort and back to the airport if you wish. More info below
PLEASE READ
If you cancel your reservation before June 15th, 2026 you are only responsible for the non-refundable $300 per room booking fee, already paid as the deposit when you reserved your room. However, you can reduce the number of nights in your reservation up to this date without a fee (maintaining the 3 night minimum).
If you cancel your reservation, no show, or reduce the number of nights or travelers in your reservation after June 15th, 2026, you are responsible for 100% of your room total. If you have travel insurance you can file a claim to get a refund based on the insurance providers terms.
Hotel Xcaret Mexico will not provide a credit or voucher for future travel if you arrive after your scheduled arrival date, if you check out early, or do not travel on the dates selected for this reservation for any reason.
Bohemia Wedding Travel is not an agent of Hotel Xcaret Mexico and has no governance of refund policies and other rules mandated by Hotel Xcaret Mexico.

TRAVEL PROTECTION
FYI, not purchasing travel protection could result in the loss of your travel cost and/or require more money to correct the situation. Without protection, there may be no way to recoup any losses, costs, or expenses incurred and the price of Travel Protection IS NOT included in the price of the room selections and is non-refundable once purchased.
Having travel protection is important and recommended for everyone. The option to purchase travel insurance is solely up to you and you may purchase it through any insurance company you would like.
This website (Travel Insured) offers a very comprehensive policy called the “Worldwide Trip Protector” plan with optional add-ons like CFAR (Cancel For Any Reason), and other add-on options.
**If you have any questions about insurance please give Travel Insured a call at 800-243-3174. We (Bohemia Wedding Travel) are not a licensed insurance company and can not legally answer any insurance-related questions.**
ROUNDTRIP AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION
Included in your reservation is Hotel Xcaret’s shuttle transportation from the Cancun (CUN) Airport to Hotel Xcaret and back to the Cancun (CUN) airport.
Transportation operates every 30 minutes starting at 5:45 a.m. through 9:00 p.m. and every 1 hour from 9:45 p.m. through 5:45 a.m. (Please contact Hotel Xcaret about seating for small children).
For Arrivals:
After clearing customs and collecting your luggage, proceed outside the airport and look for the resort’s transportation staff who will be holding a sign that says “Hoteles Xcaret” (see photos).
You must exit the arrival hall bypassing all representatives inside the airport trying to get your attention. These representatives are there to sell time-share and may be a representative for your hotel, but are not your transportation provider.
For Departures:
Please see the Concierge desk at least one day before departure to register for your transfer back to the airport. The customer service telephone number is +011 52 (984) 159-1600.
IMPORTANT: Hotel Xcaret Shuttle Transportation
Complimentary airport shuttle service is included between Cancun (CUN) Airport or Tulum Airport (TQO) and Hotel Xcaret Mexico/Arte. Tulum airport transfers must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.
The shuttle is a complimentary benefit included with your reservation and has no cash value. Unused transportation is not refundable.
Shuttle service is only available between the airport and Hotel Xcaret. It cannot stop at other hotels, homes, Airbnbs, or destinations.
Shuttle transportation is only provided on your official check-in and check-out dates. If you arrive early or stay later, you are responsible for your own transportation until your scheduled resort dates.
Some guests have attempted to return to the Cancun Airport arrivals area on their check-in day to use the included shuttle after staying elsewhere. Hotel Xcaret does not officially allow this, and airport security may prevent access. If you choose to try, it is entirely at your own risk. If you are unable to board the shuttle, you will be responsible for arranging and paying for your own transportation.
On your departure day, if you are traveling anywhere other than the airport, you will need to arrange your own transportation.
Check-out is 12:00 PM, but guests may continue using the resort (excluding the parks) until 6:00 PM. Luggage storage is available. Requests for late check-out must be made directly with the resort after arrival.
Once you leave the resort after check-out, you cannot return later to use the complimentary airport shuttle. If you need transportation assistance during your stay, please visit the Guest Services Desk.
AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT
Resorts in Mexico are not in compliance with the U.S. Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. The venue has a limited number of accessible guest rooms that are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We can request an accessible room for you but it’s availability cannot be guaranteed.
Also, public areas at the venue are wheelchair accessible, but not always wheelchair friendly. If you need to rent a wheelchair, scooter, or oxygen tank you can do so through Playa Mobility. Click here to visit their website.
