Bohemia Wedding Travel, a destination wedding travel company, has been helping us with all the booking details. They have worked to secure a group rate and will be helping all of our guests book their travel accommodations. Our wedding is on Saturday, February 27th, 2027 at the nearby Villa La Joya Estate.

Paradisus La Perla
Discover the luxury of this 5-star adults-only resort in the heart of Playa del Carmen. Our Wedding Day:
Our ceremony and reception will be held at Villa La Joya, a beautiful, private, seaside estate 20 minutes from our resort, Paradisus. Private Shuttle Transportation will be provided to and from our resort and wedding venue.

Note: Paradisus is half family-friendly (“Playa Del Carmen Esmeralda”), half adults-only (“La Perla”). All guests 18+ have access to the entire resort except the premium areas ‘Family Concierge’ and ‘The Reserve’ unless you upgrade to those premium rooms.

To be considered a part of Mary and Robert’s Wedding Group, you must book through this group room block and not through any other method (even directly with the hotel). Guests and the wedding couple will incur penalties for those that book outside of this room block.
Individual reservations booked outside the room block, will have to purchase a wedding guest pass to attend event(s).

Paradisus, like most resorts, does not guarantee bed sizes in some rooms, they are upon request only; please contact us if you would like to request double beds. The earlier you book, the more likely you are to get your requested bed type.
Specific buildings, specific rooms, specific views, adjacent rooms or room numbers are not guaranteed but may be requested at check-in.
December 25th, 2026 is the final date to reassign rooms to a different name or adjust the dates reserved.
Paradisus Playa del Carmen LA PERLA is an “Adults Only Resort” and All guests must be minimum 18 years of age or older at the date of arrival to be registered. No exceptions.
Modifications to your room category are possible but response times from resorts can take a few weeks. It is recommended that you select your room category with accuracy.

You will be provided with unlimited meals + snacks + drinks included in your room price. 24 Hour Room Service is also included with a $5 service charge.
If you have specific dietary restrictions, please let us know so we can make a note on your booking to the resort.

TRIP DEPOSIT + PAYMENT SCHEDULE
A non-refundable payment of $300 is all you need to reserve your room right now.
November 25th, 2026 $300 deposit must be made by this date to reserve a room.
December 1st, 2026 The remaining balance is due.
Making Multiple Payments:
After you pay the deposit to reserve your room, you will receive an invoice to your email at the end of the day. Click ‘reply’, scroll down to invoice link. On your invoice page you will be able to make custom payment amounts until the due date with the same or different credit cards. Each time you make a custom payment, it will auto-deduct from your remaining balance.

You will fly to the Cancun International Airport (CUN).
You may also book your own ground transportation to Paradisus and back to the airport. Details below.
PLEASE READ
If you cancel your reservation before December 1st, 2026 you are only responsible for the non-refundable $300 per room booking fee, already paid as the deposit when you reserved your room. However, you can reduce the number of nights in your reservation up to this date without a fee while maintaining the 3 night minimum.
Between December 1st, 2026 and January 1st, 2027, any cancelled room nights will be charged at 50%
If you cancel your reservation, no show or reduce the number of nights or travelers in your reservation on or after January 1st, 2027, you are responsible for 100% of your room total.
If you have travel insurance you can file a claim to get a refund based on the insurance providers terms.
Paradisus will not provide a credit or voucher for future travel if you arrive after your scheduled arrival date, if you check out early, or do not travel on the dates selected for this reservation for any reason. The resort will not allow room name reassignments outside of 60 days before travel.
Bohemia Wedding Travel is not an agent of Paradisus and has no governance of refund policies and other rules mandated by Paradisus.

TRAVEL PROTECTION
FYI, not purchasing travel protection could result in the loss of your travel cost and/or require more money to correct the situation. Without protection, there may be no way to recoup any losses, costs, or expenses incurred and the price of Travel Protection IS NOT included in the price of the room selections and is non-refundable once purchased.
Having travel protection is important and recommended for everyone. The option to purchase travel insurance is solely up to you and you may purchase it through any insurance company you would like.
This website (Travel Insured) offers a very comprehensive policy called the “Worldwide Trip Protector” plan with optional add-ons like CFAR (Cancel For Any Reason), and other add-on options.

AIRPORT TRANSFER
You will fly into Cancun International Airport (CUN)
Ground transportation costs to Paradisus La Perla, and back to the airport are not included with your reservation. You have the choice to select any ground transportation method you like.
For Mary and Robert, we have secured group transfer and tour rates from the Cancun airport with Lomas Travel .
All flight information or changes in schedule must be made with your chosen ground transportation company. Bohemia Wedding Travel does not have access to make any emergency changes or updates.
AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT
Resorts in Mexico are not in compliance with the U.S. Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. The venue has a limited number of accessible guest rooms that are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We can request an accessible room for you but it’s availability cannot be guaranteed.
Also, public areas at the venue are wheelchair accessible, but not always wheelchair friendly. If you need to rent a wheelchair, scooter, or oxygen tank you can do so through Playa Mobility. Click here to visit their website.
