Misti & Colin of Bohemia Wedding Travel, a local destination wedding travel company, have been helping us with all the booking details. They have worked to secure a group rate and will be helping all of our guests book their travel accommodations for our wedding on Monday March 31st, 2025.

The adults-only Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya's award-winning resort pays attention to the small details that make the difference between a simple trip and the vacation of your dreams.   1. To be included in Diana and Fernando’s Wedding Activities, please only book through this group room block and not through any other method (even directly with the hotel). We offer low contracted group rates that have been secured by Diana and Fernando with a deposit already paid on each room. If you book outside of this group the resort will charge a wedding pass fee per person per wedding event to your room.

  3. Bedding requests are based on first come first served availability.

  5. Valentin Imperial, like most resorts, does not guarantee bed sizes for some room types, they are upon request only. The earlier you book, the more likely you are to get your requested bed type.

TRIP DEPOSIT + PAYMENT SCHEDULE

A non-refundable payment of $100 is all you need to reserve your room right now.

  • October 10th, 2024 $100 deposit due to reserve a room.

  • November 10th, 2024 Remaining balance is due

Making Multiple Payments:

After you pay the deposit to reserve your room, you will receive an invoice to your email. Click ‘view invoice’. On your invoice page you will be able to make custom payment amounts until the remaining balance due date with the same or different credit cards. Each time you make a custom payment, it will auto-deduct from your remaining balance.

  • We’ve found that destination wedding guests overwhelmingly prefer to handle their own flights. (Especially considering the use and accumulation of airline miles.)

  • We will need your flight info by January 28th, ‎2025 to give to the transportation company so they know what time you will arrive. You can send that to us by filling out the form on this page.

  • You will fly to the Cancun International Airport (CUN).

  • You can also book your own ground transportation to Grand Velas Riviera Maya and back to the airport if you wish.

PLEASE READ

  • If you cancel your reservation before November 10th, 2024 you are only responsible for the non-refundable $100 per room booking fee already paid as the deposit when you reserved your room. However, you can reduce the number of nights in your reservation up to this date without a fee (maintaining the 3 night minimum).

  • Between November 10th, 2024 and December 10th, 2024 up to 20% of booked room nights may be cancelled without penalty. Reductions exceeding 20% will be charged 100% room price.

  • Between December 10th, 2024 and January 10th, 2025 up to 15% of booked room nights may be cancelled without penalty. Reductions exceeding 15% will be charged 100% room price.

  • Between January 10th, 2025 and February 10th, 2025 up to 10% of booked room nights may be cancelled without penalty. Reductions exceeding 10% will be charged 100% room price.

  • If you cancel your reservation, no-show or reduce the number of nights in your reservation after February 10th, 2025, you are responsible for 100% of your original room total.

  • A 3 night minimum is required.

  • If you have travel insurance you can file a claim for refunds based on their terms.

  • Valentin Imperial will not provide a credit or voucher for future travel if you arrive after your scheduled arrival date, if you check out early, or do not travel on the dates selected for this reservation for any reason.

  • Bohemia Wedding Travel is not an agent of Valentin Imperial and has no governance of refund policies and other rules mandated by Valentin Imperial.

TRAVEL PROTECTION

  • FYI, not purchasing travel protection could result in the loss of your travel cost and/or require more money to correct the situation. Without protection, there may be no way to recoup any losses, costs, or expenses incurred and the price of Travel Protection IS NOT included in the price of the room selections and is non-refundable once purchased.

  • Having travel protection is important and recommended for everyone. The option to purchase travel insurance is solely up to you and you may purchase it through any insurance company you would like.

  • This website (Travel Insured) offers a very comprehensive policy called the “Worldwide Trip Protector” plan with optional add-ons like CFAR (Cancel For Any Reason), and other add-on options.

ROUNDTRIP AIRPORT

TRANSPORTATION

Ground transportation costs to the resort and back to the airport is not included with your room reservation cost, but can be reserved for you on the booking form if you wish.

For Diana and Fernando’s wedding, we have secured direct, non-stop transfers with Mayaland Transportation at $99 per person, round trip.

We highly! recommend that you select to include ground transportation when placing your room deposit so that you won’t forget about this later and possibly become stranded at the airport with only expensive options. Ride share services like Uber are not viable in the Riviera Maya

You will fly into the Cancun International Airport (CUN) where the transportation company will pick you up.

Once your flights are booked, please fill out our flight form HERE, so we can get the correct info to Mayaland, so they are ready and waiting for you at the correct times.

If you’d like to add this service to your booking, please do so on the group booking page.

Any updates to your flight info or any needed changes to the transfers must be updated directly with us at hello@bohemiaweddingtravel.com. Bohemia Wedding Travel does not have access to make any emergency changes or updates.

AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT

Resorts outside of the U.S. are not required to be in compliance with the U.S. Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. The venue has a limited number of accessible guest rooms that are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We can request an accessible room for you but it’s availability cannot be guaranteed.

Also, public areas at the venue are wheelchair accessible, but not always wheelchair friendly. If you need to rent a wheelchair, scooter, or oxygen tank you can do so through Playa Mobility. Click here to visit their website.
