We are so excited to be able to share our upcoming celebration weekend with you at the beautiful Secrets Akumal in the Mexico. Your presence during our wedding week means the world to us.
Bohemia Wedding Travel, a destination wedding travel company, has been helping us with all the booking details. They have worked to secure a group rate and will be helping all of our guests book their travel accomodation for our wedding on Sunday, May 9, 2027.

To be included in Claire and Brendan’s Wedding Activities, please only book through this group room block and not through any other method (even directly with the hotel). If you book outside of this group, Secrets Akumal will charge USD 150 per person per day per wedding event.

March 7, 2027 is the final date to reassign rooms to a different name or adjust the dates reserved.
Specific buildings, adjacent rooms or room numbers are not guaranteed, but may be requested at check-in.
Secrets Akumal, like most resorts, does not guarantee bed sizes for some room types, they are upon request only; on future booking page. The earlier you book, the more likely you are to get your requested bed type.
Some Ocean View rooms may have a partial view of the ocean.
Modifications to your room category are possible but response times from resorts can take a few weeks. It is recommended that you select your room category with accuracy.
Secrets Akumal is strictly 18+ with no exceptions. Based on age at time of check-in.

HOW TO MAKE MULTIPLE PAYMENTS: After deposit, you'll receive an invoice by email. Click reply and scroll to find your invoice link. Make custom payment amounts at any time using any card. Zero credit card fees.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you cancel your reservation before December 10th, 2026 you are only responsible for the non-refundable $300 per room booking fee, already paid as the deposit when you reserved your room. You may reduce the number of nights in your reservation up to this date (maintaining the 3 night minimum).

BETWEEN DECEMBER 10, 2026 & FEBRUARY 10, 2027
Any reductions or cancelled room nights will be charged at 40%.
If you cancel your reservation, no-show, or reduce the number of nights or travelers in your reservation after February 10, 2027 you are responsible for 100% of your original room total.

* If you have travel insurance you can file a claim for a refund based on your insurance providers terms. Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya will not provide a credit or voucher for future travel if you arrive after your scheduled arrival date, if you check out early, or do not travel on the dates selected for this reservation for any reason. Bohemia Wedding Travel is not an agent of Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya and has no governance of refund policies and other rules mandated by Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya.
TRANSPORTATION
You will fly into Cancun International Airport (CUN) or Tulum International Airport (TQO).
Ground transportation costs to Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya and back to the airport are not included with your reservation. You have the choice to select any ground transportation method you like.
